Microsoft has distributed Internet Explorer 7 as a high-priority update via Automatic Updates.
Automatic Updates will first notify you when Internet Explorer 7 is ready to install and then show a welcome screen that presents key features and the choice to accept, decline or postpone installation. Alternately, you will be able to visit the Windows Update or Microsoft Update sites and obtain Internet Explore 7 by performing an "Express" scan for high-priority updates.
Configuring POP access for your email account is very similar to
configuring POP access in Gmail. Here's what you need to know:
Any time you're asked for your username during the configuration
process, you'll need to enter your full email address
(username@smot.edu.in).
The incoming server is pop.gmail.com or pop.googlemail.com, and
outgoing server is smtp.gmail.com or smtp.googlemail.com.
Outgoing port - 465
Incoming Port - 995
Check 'Use SSL' option in Outlook.
You need to enable POP access in your webmail (mail.smot.edu.in) before you can use Outlook.
