Keeping learning as the central concern, SMOT has created state of the art classrooms that maximize learning by improving the level of interaction with the faculty, use of technology to aid understanding and facilitation of group work (so essential in management education).

The Kens

These are facilities for students to work in groups or to interact with faculty or industry experts in small groups.

State of the art library

The Library in SMOT is a vibrant space with facilities for discussions, worktables for projects, multimedia materials, and digital collection of books, journals and magazines. Reference material in electronic and paper forms is available 24 hours a day.

Wifi campus

The campus and the Hostels are completely Wi Fi enabled to ensure that a SMOT student is completely wired inside the campus. 24 hr access to the internet and the state of the art computing facilities in SMOT with unprecedented access to world class and world wide material.

Client presentation rooms

These rooms are meant for industry immersion exercises where candidates are expected to present their work and the work of their colleagues. Equipped with state of the art presentation tools, these rooms give SMOT candidates the cool confidence to take on the toughest customers on the job.

Cafeteria

The Corporate cafeteria in SMOT offers all three meals along with snacks all through the course. Executive Lunch is provided free for candidates throughout the program.

Blackberry connectivity

Since SMOT candidates will be spending an unusually high proportion of time working with industry, SMOT is providing Blackberry connectivity to all its students at no extra charge. This will ensure that SMOT students are accessible and have access at all points of time.

Intranet

The vibrant Intranet in SMOT is the tool by which SMOT candidates become masters of connectivity and workflow.

Virtual Private Network

This facility enables a SMOT candidate to connect to the internal resources of the school from wherever they are through their blackberry and laptop.

Hostels for male and female students

To ensure safety and a congenial home atmosphere, SMOT has Hostels for both Male and Female students within walking distance from the institute.
